# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • It tastes like you spent money at a fancy resort, but you made it in ten minutes with ingredients from your local market.
  • The passionfruit pulp gives you that authentic tropical flavor that bottled juices can never replicate—you can actually taste the fruit.
  • It's naturally vegan and gluten-free, so everyone at your gathering can enjoy it without worry.
02 -
  • Over-muddling mint is the most common mistake—it turns the leaves dark and releases tannins that make your drink taste bitter instead of bright.
  • Room-temperature rum mixes better than cold rum, so keep your bottle at room temperature and chill everything else; the ice does all the cooling you need.
03 -
  • Chill your glasses in the freezer for five minutes before serving—this one small step keeps your drink cold and delicious for longer.
  • If you can't find good passionfruit, frozen passionfruit pulp from a quality brand works beautifully and often tastes fresher than fruit shipped across the world.
