→ Fruit & Vegetables

01 - 4 cups fresh pineapple, peeled and cubed
02 - 1 medium jalapeño, seeded (for less heat) and chopped
03 - 1 lime, juiced

→ Liquids & Sweeteners

04 - 3 cups cold water
05 - 2 tablespoons agave syrup or sugar (adjust to taste)
06 - Ice cubes, for serving

# How To:

01 - In a blender, combine pineapple, jalapeño, lime juice, agave syrup (or sugar), and water.
02 - Blend until completely smooth.
03 - Taste and adjust sweetness or spice as desired (add more agave/sugar or jalapeño if needed).

05 - Serve over ice cubes in glasses. Garnish with pineapple wedges or extra jalapeño slices, if desired.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The blend of sweet pineapple and gentle spice feels like an instant vacation breeze—no flight required.
  • This agua fresca always disappears quickly at parties and has even converted a few jalapeño skeptics in my circle.
02 -
  • Once, I forgot to seed the jalapeño—my face turned the color of a ripe tomato after the first sip, so seed and taste before blending.
  • Switching half the water for sparkling after blending made the drink lighter and lifted the flavors in a way I didn’t expect—now I do it for special occasions.
03 -
  • Fresh pineapple trumps canned every time—the taste is wilder and more vivid.
  • Taste your jalapeño before using the whole thing; some are unpredictably fiery, and there’s no easy fix once blended in.
