11 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
12 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

# How To:
01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch pie dish or tart pan with butter.
02 - Toss thinly sliced apples with lemon juice, then arrange them evenly in the prepared dish.
03 - Whisk together eggs, granulated sugar, whole milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
04 - Pour the custard mixture evenly over the arranged apples.
05 - Drizzle melted butter over the mixture, sprinkle brown sugar on top, and scatter sliced almonds if using.
